Here They Come!

I can't wait! The new dining table will arrive today and I can't wait! Did I say that already? This morning I have a dentist appointment for cleaning and then I wait for the delivery guys to call 30 min. prior to delivery.

Another item I am having delivered is a chaise for the master bedroom. It's darker than I would have wanted; they don't seem to make many of those any more and Sofa Express went out of business before I could afford the one I wanted. Now Aspen and I can play battling tanks or whatever it is we play and not have to bring in an extra chair for him. Actually he has been claiming my nice straight back chair lately and I have to get the 'extra' chair.

Since I took the day off to await those items, I should be able to finish my gift wrapping, and maybe even clean the carpet in the study. Ladd's so funny he says, wow the carpet looks new everywhere we cleaned. He would tell me this past year and even last year he was cleaning the carpet but he was only using canned cleaner and I figured we would have to replace the carpet since it was not getting clean with that nice cleaner we have, silly me.

I like a quiet day at home by myself once in a while. I guess there are those that have quiet days all the time and wish for company.
